Kaebox ID: Your Delivery Address, Shared on Your Terms
Share your Kaebox ID—not your full street address—with the person arranging your delivery. Kaebox ID gives sellers a simple way to select your delivery details while the seller-facing lookup shows only your first name, city, and state.
A simpler way to arrange delivery
Buying from a local seller or collecting an auction purchase often means exchanging address details in messages. Kaebox ID gives you another option.
Share the ID through your normal conversation. The seller enters it in Kaebox, checks your first name and city/state, and selects Use address. The street address and contact details stay hidden in that lookup.
For local transport, the same booking connects with Kaebox's fast pickup service, powered by more than 500,000 drivers across its U.S. network. Read the local-delivery guide for the booking steps.
How Kaebox ID works
Keep your delivery address current in your Kaebox account.
Share your Kaebox ID with the person arranging the supported delivery.
They choose Kaebox ID in the address selector and enter your ID.
They check the displayed first name and city/state, select Use address, and finish the booking.
That is the core workflow: one ID connects the booking to the account's address without displaying the full address in the seller-facing lookup. Start in the Kaebox dashboard.
Move your address, keep your ID
When you update the address in your account, you keep the same Kaebox ID. Future bookings using that ID reference the updated account address.
That helps with repeat purchases and regular deliveries: you maintain the details in one place instead of sending a new address to every seller.
For a delivery already booked or in progress, arrange a destination change through that booking or contact Kaebox. Updating a profile and changing an active delivery are separate actions.
Useful for local shopping and auction purchases
A buyer can give an auction house a Kaebox ID while completing the normal payment and lot-release process. Read our auction pickup guide for the rest of the collection checklist.
A customer ordering from a small store can share an ID instead of putting a home address into a social-media message. The small-business delivery guide shows how a store can organize these orders.
An individual can use the workflow for a personal purchase or delivery arranged by another person. See delivery for everyday personal items for examples.
Address privacy with a clear purpose
Kaebox ID reduces what a seller sees during the supported lookup. Kaebox and the driver still use the information necessary to complete the delivery. Parcel labels, invoices, and details you share separately have their own information requirements.
Keep your ID in a trusted conversation, confirm that the displayed person and location are correct, and keep the account address accurate. Payment confirmation and seller release checks remain part of the purchase.
These simple habits keep the experience convenient without treating an ID as a payment credential or identity document.
Build a better delivery experience for your customers
Businesses can offer the supported ID workflow as part of a more convenient address exchange. Connect with Kaebox for Business for free website integration, or use the Kaebox website and apps directly.
A clear order process still includes the item description, package count, receiving instructions, and timing. Kaebox ID handles the account-linked address selection; it fits into the rest of the booking rather than adding another delivery task.
For retailer returns, use the retailer's approved QR code or label alongside the required booking details. A delivery-address ID and a return authorization serve different purposes.

One account for delivery and shipping from home
Kaebox brings local delivery and parcel shipping together. If you also prepare parcels, visit the Kaebox store for a home or business shipping setup.

Frequently asked questions
What does a seller see when looking up my ID?
The supported seller-facing lookup shows your first name, city, and state. It hides your street address and contact details from that screen.
Can I keep the same ID after moving?
Yes. Update your address in your Kaebox account and keep the same ID for future bookings.
Can Kaebox and the driver still use my address?
Yes. Kaebox and the people completing the delivery use the operational details needed to deliver your item.
Does changing my account address change a delivery already booked?
Handle an existing delivery's destination through that booking or Kaebox support. Profile updates maintain the address used for future bookings.
