Follow this guide to guarantee your international shipment sails smoothly.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Kaebox App
Click the Send button to start your international shipping request.
You should see two address fields on your screen.
Sender’s Address: This is where you will enter the address you are shipping from. If the Pick-Up Address differs from the Sender’s Address, then select No at the top of the page. If these addresses are the same, then select Yes. This is an important step in case your shipment cannot be delivered and the item must be sent back to its point of origin.
Recipient Address: This is the address where your shipment will be delivered. Take special care to verify all the information is correct and up to date before you continue.
Enter the Sender’s Address Information
Please type out the first and last name of the sender and pay special to the spelling. Then provide the Sender Address or the location where your courier will collect the item(s). Provide the phone number so your courier can contact you in case of an emergency.
Enter the Recipient’s Address Information
Fill out the first and last name of the person you are sending the item(s) to. Carefully review the entered information for correct spelling. Enter the recipient's international address and use the GPS pinpoint tool to mark the exact location where your courier should deliver the item. For international shipments, please be sure to verify the formatting for international addresses. Ensure your information is correct to guarantee seamless transportation overseas.
If either address is for a Military, P.O. Box, or Residential Address you can mark that information at this step in the Kaebox app. Please carefully review all the information on this page before you continue to the next step.
Select Services
After you complete the Shipment Information page, select which services you desire for your order. At this stage, you will see three options on your screen in the Kaebox app.
Packaging: Select this option to get mailer bags brought to you to prepare your package.
Postage Label: Select this option to have your courier print your shipping label(s) for you.
Pick Up & Drop Off: Select this option to get a courier pick-up and drop-off service.
After you have made your selections, continue to the next step.
Package Type
Here you will see three options for the type of package you are sending. This information helps us prepare the courier we connect you with to verify they have the space to transport the item.
Choose from the following list: Envelope, Box, or Letter.
Determine which of these best describes the item you wish to send in your international shipment, then proceed to the next step.
Customs Form
Since you are shipping internationally, you must fill out a customs declaration form for each item in your shipment. Kaebox adheres to all international rules and regulations to best serve and protect our consumers and couriers. Provide detailed information at this stage to enhance your seamless shipping experience and minimize delays in your shipment journey.
Customs Declaration:
Select the contents of your shipment from the following options in the drop-down menu: Documents, Merchandise, Gift, or Returned Goods.
If your item is undeliverable, please choose which process you would like the delivery person to follow, if you would like the item to be returned to the sender please mark that here.
Provide a brief description of the item, as well as the quantity and value of the object(s).
Finally, you must enter the Harmonization, and share if your order contains dangerous objects like Lithium batteries. Enter the country of origin to complete this form.
If your order contains more than one item, please streamline the process and create customs forms for each item.
Package Dimensions
At this stage, you must enter accurate information to streamline your package journey through the international supply chain. Enter the item's Length, Width, and Height correctly. You must also weigh the item and enter the amount using either Pounds or Kilograms.
Review the entered information and continue. Using the entered information, the Kaebox app will automatically sort through our seven unique mailer bags to determine your best fit. You can review the list of sizes and confirm your selection before moving on.
Review The Restricted Items List
To guarantee the safety of our couriers and users, we ask that you carefully review the Kaebox Prohibited Item List to ensure that you are not sending restricted items internationally.
After you confirm that your order does not contain any prohibited items, please continue.
Pick Your Price
You are nearly at the end of your international shipping process, congratulations! Now you must confirm your delivery preferences.
Here you have the option to add shipping insurance to your international shipping order, and you can even customize the amount. Package protection plans are provided by a third-party provider through the Kaebox app to optimize your experience.
Next, you will select your delivery preferences. Here you can choose to require a signature upon delivery for an added layer of security.
If your order contains any fragile items or liquid, please select the corresponding option from the drop-down list.
Now you can sort your list of discounted shipping rates from Cheapest Price or Fastest Delivery. These options give you control over the rate you pay for your international shipment.
Make your selection from our partner carriers USPS, UPS, DHL, and FedEx then move on to the next screen. Please read through and agree to the Kaebox Terms and Conditions.
Take a Picture of Your Item(s)
To assist the courier in collecting your order, we request that you take a picture of the object you intend to ship. This helps our courier correctly identify the package they are there to collect and avoid any confusion. Be sure to capture the picture clearly and in good lighting before you continue. If there are multiple packages please take a picture of each item and mark them to assist your courier.
Checkout
Complete your final review to verify all the information in your international shipping order is correct. Click on your Cost Review button to ensure everything is reflected accurately.
Confirm your Pick-Up Date & Time with the drop-down list. You can choose to schedule your international shipment in advance up to 60 days ahead of time. If you plan on Splitting Your Shipment with another party, you can provide those details at this stage.
Enter any added gratuity you wish to pay your courier at this stage. Review your Order Summary one final time then proceed to checkout.
Once you submit your payment, you are all set! Our couriers will cover the rest of your international shipping journey. You can relax knowing that your shipment is in good hands.
Click on the Shipment tab in the Kaebox app at any time to track your progress with your international shipment. Share your tracking updates with another party seamlessly from this screen.
