Kaebox Consumer: Create your first shipment with Kaebox (Kaebox Tier)

Last week we introduced the Kaebox Delivery app and showed you how to set up your consumer profile. Once your profile has been created, you’re able to place shipments. At Kaebox, we take away the stress by offering local, national, and international shipping. For the purpose of this blog, we’ll be focusing on creating a local shipment, called the Kaebox Tier. Keep reading to learn how to create your first shipment with us!


Pick Up Location: Open app and click “new shipment.” This will start the simple process of creating a shipment. Enter your pickup location and select from the list at the bottom of the page to ensure accurate delivery. Your delivery driver will bring the postal store to your door!


Drop Off Location: After filling out the pick up location, it’s time to add the drop off location. The drop off location is where you want your package to be delivered. Enter the drop off location and select from the list at the bottom of the page to ensure accurate delivery.


Packaging: Now that your pick up and drop off locations are filled out, let’s focus on packaging. This is where you’ll input the type of packaging needed for your shipment. You’ll need to fill out the following information:

  • Type (select from envelope or parcel)

  • Weight in pounds and or ounces

  • Package dimensions in inches or centimeters

  • Choose between fragile and liquid

  • Review the following items that Kaebox does not accept.

Shipping: Next you’ll configure a few shipping options. If you’d like to insure your package, all you need to do is flip the switch and enter the amount. You’ll then select the carrier, Kaeboxers have the option of selecting between

  • Kaebox Short Distance

  • US Postal Service

  • UPS

  • FedEx


Like we mentioned above, this article will detail the steps for the “Kaebox Short Distance” shipping option. The Kaebox Tier offers same day delivery up to 150 miles! The screenshots below that indicate amounts are for reference only, any prices referred to do not reflect the actual prices for shipments.


The final step for this stage will have you select from Kaebox bags or if you’d like, you can use your own packaging!


Scheduling a shipment: You’re almost done! Let’s move on to scheduling your shipment. Your shipment can be picked up as soon as possible or you can schedule for at least 2 hours in advance. Simply input a date and time in the specified box.


Double check your shipment!

Now’s the time to make sure all of the information we covered above is correct! Double check your pick up location, drop off location, shipping information, and pick up schedule.


This is also the section where you can write any notes or special instructions for your shipment and Kaebox Delivery Driver. Make sure to configure your notification settings so you can track your shipment every step of the way! Don’t forget to hit confirm!


When you’ve made sure that all of the settings and directions are correct, press “Proceed To Payment.”



Payment Configuration:

To complete your first order, you’ll be directed to payment. Here, you will see the breakdown of your shipment, the total amount, and have the opportunity to input your payment information. You have the option between:

  • Visa

  • Master

  • Discover

  • American Express

  • Apple Pay

Once your payment information is correctly inputted, press confirm and your shipment will be requested and submitted! Now all you have to do is leave the item at your door and leave the rest to us!
